- City Court of Slidell offers Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Victim Impact panels on the first Thursday in February, April, June, August, October & November.

NOTE: No other form of payment will be accepted. In order for you to get official credit for Community Service, you must be assigned by the Probation Officer to a Court-approved program. If you are assigned by your Probation Officer to work for the Keep Slidell Beautiful program, you must contact Bill Mauser at 985-646-4307 on Thursdays to find out the location to meet on the upcoming Saturday. Community Service begins promptly at 7:30 a.m. and ends at noon. Anyone 15 years of age and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the entire period.

The Office of Juvenile Justice, a department of the Louisiana state government, is responsible for any juvenile who remains under Court supervision or who are ordered by the Court to be put into a custodial facility.

Anger Management / Domestic Abuse Prevention

- Classes meet on Sundays from 8 – 9:30 a.m.
- This is a 12-week program and you must attend all classes in order.
- The cost is $20 per session.
Driver Improvement

- Classes are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- You must register in advance for all classes.
- The cost is $40 dollars for a four-hour class.
- If you are living out of the area, you can attend the National Safety Council with prior approval from the Probation Officer.
Marijuana Abuse Program

- Classes start on the first Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m.
- This is a 12-week program and you must attend all classes in order.
- The cost is $25 per session.
- Participants will be subject to random drug screenings.
STOP Class
- Shoplifting and Theft Offense Program

- Classes are held on Fridays from 6 – 7:30 p.m.
- This is a four-part class and must be attended in order.
- The cost is $25 per class (you may pay with either cash or money order).

Substance Abuse

- You must schedule your Assessment in advance.
- An Assessment is mandatory prior to beginning any treatment.
- This program is divided into two phases and is generally a six-week program.
- Additional treatment may be recommended based on individual assessment.
- The cost is:
- $75 for the initial assessment AND
- $25 per group session.
- You must mention that you are on probation with the City Court of Slidell to receive this discounted rate.
- Financial assistance may be available based on income limits and restrictions.
- Participants will be subject to random drug screenings.

- You have 10 days to schedule an evaluation.
- An Evaluation / Assessment is mandatory prior to Admission.
- Evaluation / Assessments are held on Fridays at 4 p.m.
- Treatment depends on individual SASSI evaluation and generally consists of a minimum of 8-12 weeks.
- Treatment may include: psycho-education, group therapy, self-help meetings or a combination of all.
- The cost is $25 per session.
- Participants will be subject to random drug screenings.
